Our Mission

God is envisioning a world where all people from every nation, culture and tradition could be able to come together and celebrate life in its fullness. God wants a world without racial, social, cultural, age or sexual discrimination. God is yearning for a world without boundaries, a community which is inclusive, safe and hospitable towards everyone. A community in which one can celebrate life in all its intense experiences and emotions.

We at Our Lady of Sorrows, acknowledge that we are still pilgrims on a journey and yet hope that we will make a difference as we journey together as a community. A difference that shows us as a people set apart to glorify God in our commitment and fellowship. We want a community where one can call home. A community where God dwells within. Together as a community, we can make a difference.

Welcome to

Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Peckham.

On this mountain, for all peoples, Yahweh Sabaoth is preparing A banquet of rich food, a banquet of fine wines, of succulent food, of well-strained wines. On this mountain, he has destroyed the veil which used to veil all peoples the pall enveloping all nations; He has destroyed death forever.

Lord Yahweh has wiped away the tears from every cheek; He has taken his people's shame everywhere on earth For Yahweh has spoken." (Isaiah 25: 6–8)
